My interest and passion for photography began in the early seventies, while I was working as a television newscaster and anchorman. I found out I liked working "behind the camera" as a cameraman, almost as much as working "in front of it" as an announcer. With over 45 years of experience - including television news, catalog, newspaper, and magazine work, we have consistently shown that we can handle any photo or video assignment with ease. We create memories that will last a lifetime with professional quality, affordable photography and video. My wife of 43 years, and my assistant, is also an accomplished photographer in her own right, and also handles photo post production and editing, video editing, and photo restorations. Our background includes, shooting film and video for television commercials, doing "voice-overs" , shooting product shots for Bass Pro Shops catalogs, clothing models for Sears catalogs, Montgomery Ward catalogs, J.C. Penney catalogs, model portfolios, runway and fashion shoots, and many other publications. And 10 years in Las Vegas, Nevada, working with and shooting video, and publicity photos, for major Las Vegas hotels, casinos, stage productions, showgirls, and well known entertainers. We relocated to the Springfield area in the late 1990's.
We operate at a lower overhead than many other studios, which allows us to provide the best quality service to our clients at a lower cost. Your satisfaction is guaranteed at Shutterbug Photography, whether we are shooting in the studio, or on location.
We specialize in portrait, family, senior, child, engagement, wedding, realty/realtor portraits, model
portfolios and special event photography. Color or Black and White. DVD videos and slide shows with
music backgrounds are also available in either standard or high definition Blu-Ray formats. We can
